I had an incredible opportunity to meet this brave fourteen-year-old, Dillion Binegar, when I was speaking at St. John's Jesuit High School. I was so impressed with this young man's passion and desire to help other that I want to share this website.
Here at teens against abuse we are teens trying to help other teens, we are a team of kids from ages 12-17 working on helping teens that have been abused worldwide. We also provide links to materials on the signs, symptoms, and effects of abuse, so that teens can better understand the situation they are in and the resources available to them. We work to empower teens to make informed decisions about their health, safety, and wellbeing.
Hosted by NHL hockey player and recipient of the Canadian Humanitarian Award, Theo Fleury.

Episode 7:
John-Michael Lander tells his story of competing in the sport of springboard and platform diving where and sexually abused by the adults entrusted in this training. During the age of 15, his coach started taking him along overnight trips where alcohol, sexual abuse and derogatory terms were involved. The coach emotionally isolated and manipulated John-Michael to trust only him. John- Michael felt confused, conflicted, special, shameful for feeling special, and several other feelings from the grooming process he was going through.
Simultaneously, John-Michael was manipulated by a lawyer, who promised to help him get into a higher state college, and then by a doctor, who took him and a group of boys to a ring of so-called professionals and experts that ogled, fondled and distributed the boys among themselves.
When John-Michael told his mother about these mistreatment, she slapped him and told him not to tell lies. These professionals were helping John-Michael’s family in all financial aspects and had gained her trust. She, along with many others in the community, believed their good reputations. At that point, John-Michael had nobody to confide in and protect him, because all the trusted adults he knew either thought he was lying or were involved in the abuse. John-Michael says that the predators not only groom the victims, but also the parents.
The World Premiere for the docuseries begins on July 11 2022, with a new episode from the 10-part series being released each day afterwards.
